I am currently blushing as I write this review because it is several months out of date. I say blushing because I recently commented to a friend who has a blog In Kelly’s World that it was ‘Good to see her back after an absence of several weeks!’ and here am I dawdling around and forgetting things that may be of interest to visitors, particularly those who like good food at great prices.
We visited this little place which is in the relatively newly opened locals near the Arona Gran Hotel on the seafront with friends way back in August for a Tripadvisor forum get together and ended up having not just a drink but lunch.
They do a good selection of three course meal for €8.95 and lots of snacks for under €4. While most of us settled for things like burger and chips at around €3.50. My OH, who can eat for Spain, had the sizzling prawns for starters, he followed this with the half roast chicken with trimmings for mains and as he isn´t a chocolate person, I ended up having his tiramisu and ice cream for dessert.
If I remember correctly the bill for six of us including beer, soft drinks, water and an extra pudding after seeing the first one arrive was €60 and that included the tip.
There are several small restaurants in this location, that all provide decent food for a decent price served by lovely staff and of course the view is not to be sniffed at either.
