Afghanistan – a photo blog

My nephew Andrew is an award winning photographer with the British Army.  He has completed several tours of Afghanistan and below are some of the images he has captured in his lense.

One Response to Afghanistan – a photo blog

Amazing photos, soldiers are so brave and also the support crews and everyone else out there. One has been murdered in Woolwich (which is near us) by the army barracks by suspected terrorists. Its all so awful and they used a machete and a gun, they’ve been caught and shot by police and taken to hospital.

The work that our troops (whether we agreed with going into Iraq and Afganhistan or not) do in trying to protect the people of the UK and other countries is amazing and I would like to thank them for their bravery. The daughter of a friend has done 2 or 3 tours of Afganhistan with the army and another friend has a son in the Air Force, they worry every day.
