Pay it Forward

Recently my friend Kelly on Facebook did a status update announcing that she was beginning the year by participating in a pay it forward initiative.  I thought what a great idea and told her “I’m In”, but rather than facebook I would share to perhaps a totally different audience through my blog.

A few days later Kelly asked me to send her my address. Now I am feeling a little excited as I anticipate what I’m going to receive.

So here goes…

My 2015 pledge – after all the recent terrible tragedies that have happened and are happening, this world needs as much kindness as it can get, therefore I’m participating in this ‘Pay it Forward’ initiative:

The first five people who comment on this status with “I’m in” will receive a surprise from me at some point during 2015 – anything from a book, a ticket, something home-grown, homemade, a postcard, absolutely any surprise! There will be no warning and it will happen when the mood comes over me and I find something that I believe would suit you and make you happy.

Ideally if these five people have a blog or facebook page, they must make the same offer. Let’s do more nice and loving things in 2015, without any reason other than to make each other smile and show that we think of each other.

Here’s to a more enjoyable, friendly, positive and love-filled year…

If you want to be In please don´t add your address to the comment box, I can see your email address and will contact you privately so your personal details are secure.

I’m in ! I love this idea , in stead of making all sort of new-years things you want to do – and oops…the day after forgotten ! Imagine…..this song is stuck in my head since I red this….In this world of violence , lonely people , let us try to make somebody’s day lighten up by a beautiful, unexpected rainbow ! xxx 🙂

I’m in……you know, the vast majority of people are good, with a few questionable people on the periphery and a tiny number of truly evil souls often grabbing the lime-light with their outrageous acts. Let’s do our bit for the world and see the best in people rather than the negative x

I’m in….What a lovely idea – the world would be a lot better place if everyone did just 1 good deed a day for a complete stranger 🙂
