The beaches of Arona

For those who love beaches, those in Arona are idyllic and you must discover them all.

Charco del Baño

The small, pebble and dark volcanic sand beach is separated from Las Galletas beach by a small marina. At this quiet pleasant spot, residents and visitors can enjoy crystal-clear waters and a clean coastal landscape. A short promenade runs along the waters edge where restaurants offer exquisite local seafood. In July, the “Fiestas del Carmen” turn this peaceful place into a cheerful, colourful village. Small boats decorated with brightly coloured ribbons set sail with its “patrona” (our Lady of El Carmen) on board, along with fireworks displays.

Costa del Silencio

This lives up to its name, one of the most quiet, peaceful areas in Arona. Costa del Silencio beach has very little sand and few rest areas but this coastline offers to its visitors peace to relax by the mild, transparent waters of the Atlantic ocean.

Las Vistas Beach

This beach extends along the promenade from Playa de Los Cristianos to Playa de Las Américas. Las Vistas is one of the most well-known beaches on Tenerife because of its golden fine sand, water quality, it is also one of the largest and has the best facilities anywhere on the island. It is extremely popular not only for residents but visitors and suitable for all kind of users. A place where young and old will spend an unforgettable day.

Los Cristianos Beach

A beach with history located right in the centre of town. This golden sand and crystal-clear waters beach, where vessels can be spotted in the distance, is in a peaceful natural cove, shielded from the winds by the fishing port. It still preserves a quiet fishing village’s essence, just like the atmosphere the first tourists discovered when they visited back in the 60’s. From here fishing and leisure boats set sail daily and from Los Cristianos ferry terminal, boats depart to the islands of La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Beach volley or football championships are held in the summertime and the local sailing schools offer courses all year long.

Playa del Camisón

Located in Las Américas, a stunning beach with golden sand that attracts sun lovers who seek places where they can relax or have fun while playing water sports of any kind.

Whichever you choose, the beaches of Arona are an idyllic place to spend your holiday
