Public Holidays in the Canary Islands 2017

The following is a list of public holidays for 2017 that has been approved by the Canarian government.

– 6 January (Epiphany)
– 2 February (Our Lady of Candelaria – Tenerife’s patron saint)
– 13 April (Holy Thursday)
– 14 April (Good Friday)
– 1 May (Workers’ Day)
– 30 May (Canarian Day)
– 15 August (Assumption of the Virgin)
– 12 October (Fiesta Nacional de España/Spain Day)
– 1 November (All Saints Day)
– 6 December (Spanish Constitution Day)
– 8 December (Immaculate Conception)
– 25 December (Christmas Day)

In addition to the above 12 holidays, each municipality has its own two days bringing the total number of holidays to 14.
