What to Expect

Temperatures soar this month as summer hits the island. There are regular heatwaves, mainly in the south, when shade temperatures reach the mid-30s, and the chance of the odd calima makes temperatures rise even further. However, based on previous years the normal pattern is for shade temperatures during the day range from 33-22°C in the south and 28-17°C in the north.
