  1. Hi, I allways enjoy to read your blog and today I noticed that the link to ARTlandya doesn’t work.
It would be great if you can fix it again 🙂 Many regards Ingrid

Wonderful, Thank you so much, flights are booked !. Really looking forward to the last weekend of the carnival. Kind regards, Caroline.

    • You just couldn´t make it up!!! I have just seen the following posted on Facebook……….ARONA CARNAVAL DATE CHANGE. Despite the original dates of 26 Feb to 7 March being printed on several official outlets the dates have now been changed to 4 to 14 March – that puts the big Los Cristianos parade on Sunday 13 March.

      • Caroline says:

Oh dear that’s a shame, Not to worry we’ll be there for the first weekend so we’ll make the most of it! Thank you very much for the update.

  3. Caroline says:

Hi Red Queen, thank you for the reply, in that case I’ll wait for the announcements before booking flights.
    Cheers. Caroline.

Hi Red Queen, love your blog! Really hope you can help me here, I would like to go to the carnival in Arona with my daughter, I see from the calendar you have kindly posted that it starts 26 feb until 7th march. Could you tell me please if there’s much to see on the last weekend or would you suggest we should go earlier? we love the parades, music and fireworks. Sadly we can only afford to come over for about 5 days due to our work commitments.
    Kind regards.

    • Hi Caroline, the date of Carnival changes every year, this year the one in Santa Cruz is early February, with the main parade being 9th Feb. Arona Carnival usually runs a couple of weeks after that but they are always late to make the announcements as to the actual date, it will be February before anything definite is known. 🙂

    • Caroline, it was announced today that Los Cristianos Carnival will be will be from 26 February to Monday 7 March. The main parade is Sunday 6th and Burial of Sardine Monday 7th.
